Loch Ness 24

#ProjectBreakpoint takes on the Loch Ness 24 hour trail run.

James once again takes on a massive challenge and again comes out on top 💪

A 24 hour run where competitors can run as many laps of the course as they can.

James managed to rack up 6 laps meaning he ran a marathon on the Loch! Outstanding 👏👏

Tough Mudder

#ProjectBreakpoint is BACK, and this time it’s just a little matter of a Tough Mudder 15k!

A 15k run with 30 of the world’s greatest obstacles, Tough Mudder will challenge you physically, mentally and spiritually. Obstacles include, crawling through mud, extreme cold water dips (and not exactly clean water!), a lot of climbing, oh and finishing up with some electroshock therapy 😅

Once again, though, we are absolutely proud to say our Patron James SMASHED this challenge, as he has with every other one he has taken on during #ProjectBreakpoint.

Who knows, on the back of this we may even put in a team for next year.

Glasgow Epic Trail 10k

Tough Runners first Glasgow run, and James absolutely SMASHES it!

Set on the beautiful Mossneuk Farm, this is one of Tough Runners toughest 10k’s. A continuous “up and down” as you make your way around the magnificent farmland running on road, grass and even cobbles.

Another event ticked off towards 12 over 12 months for James, as #ProjectBreakpoint continues on. Well done again, James.

MacTuff

“Genuinely one of the hardest events I’ve done!”

James took on the MacTuff challenge, branded Scotland’s toughest, in his first of 12 events across 2022 for his Project Breakpoint. A 15km assault course, there were plenty of water dunks and jumps, with the organisers confirming the water temperature was as low as -6°! A tough one to start, and James managed to knock it out the park.

£1,069 RAISED

A fantastic amount raised by Alan (ran a half marathon), Colin (walked 26 miles) and Joseph (walked 26 miles) on our first ever Kiltwalk participation! On top of this, some conversations were kickstarted along the way, also helping us to kick some of the stigma attached over the course of the training, and event itself.
